Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL pre-orders go live on Airtel with affordable EMIs and many Plan benefits




As expected, the newly announced Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are pretty expensive devices. Even if we don’t expect them to be smashing successes in India, we know that there are some who want the latest Google device with all the updated Google Camera features and Android Pie with fast updates. Fortunately, there are still ways to grab the device without putting down a large sum of money up front. If you’re interested in either of the two devices, the Airtel Online Store has a few deals for you.
The Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are both available from the Airtel Online Store in 3 color variants: Just Black, Clearly White, and Not Pink. The down payment pricing starts at Rs. 17,000 for the 64GB Pixel 3 and if you commit to the monthly installments, you’ll also get a couple of built-in Plan benefits. While we don’t expect many Indian consumers to pick one of these up given the pricing of devices like the OnePlus 6 (and soon, the OnePlus 6T), the Xiaomi POCO F1, and Asus ZenFone 5Z, we know that there are a few diehard Google fans among our Indian audience who are still interested in the product. I’m personally a big fan of the new Pixel 3 XL and plan on buying it myself after I’m done reviewing the device, what about you?

Telecom firms are back to square one  The Supreme Court order disallowing telecom operators from using Aadhaar for verification will prolong the time taken to get mobile phone connections and could increase customer acquisition costs by as much as 10 times.  “With enrolment via Aadhaar, we took 30 minutes to get a customer on board and now one will have to wait for 5-6 days for our officers to go to their addresses and verify their details.
